Marie + Wes | The Setai Hotel Wedding - Miami Beach, FL

Marie, hailing from Chicago, found me through WeddingWire and, after a fun, joke-filled phone call, she decided to hire me. In the months prior to the wedding, our text conversations were filled with gown photos, images of the flowers, and coordinating our schedules for a very special surprise for Wes. I didn't actually have a chance to meet them in person until early March of this year at a Starbucks on a dreary, overcast morning. Their smiles were beaming and I became even more excited about their wedding than I already was solely based on the way they looked at each other...

Fast forward to early April, Marie and I pulled off said last-minute surprise for Wes successfully! His wedding day gift (shot, edited, and finalized only days before their wedding) was a huge success. Even better - we got some emotional moments out of him! The level of excitement and joy to be married from the two of them was so evident that day - even I cried during the ceremony (although, if you have been following my posts, you'll know that it isn't a hard thing to do...). And the first look was absolutely exciting and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite moments for the couples who choose to do them on their wedding days. Oh, and did I mention that these two had the most gorgeous spring weather South Florida could offer?! *swoon*
